A larger sized bell, this produces a deeper resonate sound. Our handmade bells are each hand tuned creating a high quality sound using age-old artisan techniques. This bell is fitted with natural jute rope for hanging.

Bell making is an ancient tradition, passed down through generations of highly skilled craftspeople for over 1000 years in India. These bells are made from a special mixture of recycled metals that include iron and tin, coated in brass and copper alloys.

Each bell is hand tuned to create distinctive resonant sounds, traditionally used so that farmers could identify their livestock. To this day, no two bells sound exactly the same! 

There is a huge difference in sound quality of machine-made and hand-made bells. Ours are expertly handcrafted in the Kutch district of Gujarat State in the North East of India bordering Pakistan.
